The Porchlight family

Our mom spent her life caring for everyone else. She raised eight children and never showed weakness. As her children balanced careers, families, and daily responsibilities, we wanted to stay close while respecting her independence.

We tried shared texts, check-in schedules, and family updates. Still, important details were missed. Worse, our visits started to feel like wellness checks instead of time together.

So we created Porchlight, using AI and the technology older adults already know and trust: the telephone.

Porchlight helps families stay informed without cameras, complicated apps, or constant questioning. It gives us more room to laugh, share stories, and simply enjoy being her children.
