What happens if a call isn't answered?
We try again a short while later. If the second call goes unanswered, you get an alert saying so — we never guess at what it means.
Can I choose the call time, and change it later?
You pick the time when you set up, along with anything the day should include. Change either from your family dashboard whenever you like — new settings take effect the next day. You can also pause calls for a hospital stay or a trip.
Who can see what Porchlight learns about my parent?
Only the people you invite into your family circle. Summaries and recordings stay with the household — we don't sell them, we don't hand them to advertisers, and we don't use them to train outside models. Ask us to delete a call, a person, or the whole household and we do.
How we handle your family's dataHow do I cancel?
One button in your dashboard — no phone call, no contract. Calls stop at the end of the period you've paid for, and we remove call audio and transcripts after that.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setup takes about five minutes and costs nothing. A white-glove setup call is optional.
